The Djeridjinap Run Supporting Ocean Heroes

The Friday before the Stand Up Surf Shop King of the Cut features a community based SUP event - The Djeridjinap Run. This is a social Downwind Run - not race, held on the protected waters of the Mandurah Estuary. 

The Estuary is a fantastic option for learning to Downwind and SUPWA has arranged a group of mentors to show you how.

Djeridjinap Run 

Djeridjinap means "Happy Place", If you just want to do the run, you can use any length board you like - 9 foot, 10 foot, anything. The course is 5km downiwind and SUPWA volunteers will be on hand to give you some tips on how to downwind. Be part of the "Happy Place" with the biggest Social SUP Downwind the Estuary has seen!

This event is also a fundraiser for Ocean Hero's - Enhancing the lives of those with Autism through surfing.

4-4:30pm Keith Holmes Reserve

5:00pm Start at Mandurah Quay Resort

6:30pm Presentations and Official Opening for the Stand Up Surf King of the Cut Weekend at Keith Holmes Reserve.

Safety 

All participants must have a leg rope attached to their board and themselves as a minimum safety requirement. PFDs are also recommended for paddlers.
