Huge day for the South West for SUP and great support from regional supplier YOB Australia. Battle Of The Pods For the "battle of the pods" utilizing OC6's, the requirement is simple. Each POD will need 5 paddlers. Wavemasters and West Coast outrigger clubs will provide steerers. If more paddlers want to try then they are welcome to form a group of 5, but be great to see the best A teams battle it out. Perhaps an A and B main. The clubs can provide up to 4 boats. Numbers from each pod will need to be confirmed by Wednesday 9th. The boats require some serious logistics so we need to know they will be utilized. This is apart of a trial program to integrate SUP and Outrigger in more events. To make the event punchy, this race can run whilst we finalize the results from the racing, with a presentation straight afterwards.
